Research And Implementation Of LoT-based Hotel Regulation Management Subsystem

“Internet of Things”(IOT) is a new product of the Information Age.Literally speaking,"The Internet of Things" is a network interweaved bythings in the real world. The concept of “IOT” can be interpreted from twolevels: firstly, the core and foundation of the IOT is still the traditionalInternet, which remains the carrier of information that shows the connectionof things. Namely, IOT is the extension of the traditional Internet. Secondly,the application of IOT extends and expands beyond the connectionestablished among people under the traditional concept of “Internet” as toinclude things in the real world, which realizes the supervision of circulationof things.The hotel supervision subsystem, based on radio frequencyidentification device (RFID), mainly includes three major function modulesincluding staff management, facilities management and RFID devicemanagement. Through the construction of IOT within the hotel, it buildswireless sensor network that covers the entire hotel’s each department,therefore realizes the formation of a hardware system to supervise staff andproperty. Staff management functions are mainly for the effectivesupervision on staff working condition, workplace, as well as staff’smarching path while working in order to achieve the management of staffworking status and work progress. This supervision results can be introduced to the staff performance appraisal system as well. Hence the realization ofpowerful control on human factors in the process of informationization.Other facilities management is aimed at the supervision of hotel’s valuableproperty (such as the hotel safe, computer equipment, valuable materials,etc.), prevents such occurrences as accidental damage of the hotel property,theft etc from happening, and makes it possible for the real-timeidentification of the location, quantity, distribution and transfer of propertyunder supervision. With its help, the hotel managers may feel at easeachieving the goal of sound management. RFID device managementfunction focuses on the management of the IOT itself as well as the workingstate of its corresponding equipment. Through the distribution and control ofRFID, loopholes in the areas under supervision can be effectively and timelyremedied. Besides, based on the working state of RFID, replacement andmaintenance of the corresponding equipment can be in place timely, whicheventually help realize comprehensive multi-dimensional supervision.This article deals with the technology of IOT and its application inhotel comprehensive management, and ultimately realizes the effectivesupervision on staff and property. The design and implementation of suchfunction modules as staff management, facilities management and RFIDmanagement are also major concerns of this article. Based on the needsanalysis on staff allocation, staff working status and hotel propertymanagement, a comprehensive supervision system on staff and property is made accordingly. Coupled with the effective supervision measuresestablished on the basis of IOT technology, a final hotel supervision systemtakes shape.
