Virtually trying on three dimensional clothes is a new 3D experience rising in recent years. It means using computer to simulate virtual scenes and clothes, then achieving preview of real clothes. During the virtual trying on process, one of most significant part of cloth preview is well modeled and rendered 3D avatar-cloth animation. The purpose of this paper is using and improving the existing garment simulation algorithm and combining skeleton animation technique to generate virtual avatar and cloth, finally using render algorithm to render animation frame and generate animation video. In the cloth modeling aspect, we used adaptive remeshing algorithm based on physical method. According to the definition of tensor field, we have formed our own remeshing field. And then we used avatar changes and gravity to update field and cloth mesh and achieved fine detail of cloth winkles. In the avatar animation implementation aspect, we used dae files as our import skeleton animation file. And we have designed and implemented a skeleton driven avatar animation system, which we used to interact with cloth meshes. In order to achieve fine interaction of skeleton animation and cloth modeling algorithm, we have designed some small but useful algorithm to implement that. In the final rendering process, we used accelerated ray tracing algorithm, and implemented Kajiya and Kay’s fur rendering algorithm. Finally we have implemented our animation video export function in our virtual try on system, which can simply use previously modeled skeleton animation and coarse cloth model to generate fine animation video. In the software developing part of this paper, we have mentioned some design of our three dimensional interface.
