Design And Implementation For Digital Hospital Management System

In terms of the hospital m anagement, it is known that the hospitalization management is the most important task in the hospital. This system impacts the service level of the hospital, the processing of the doctor-patie nt relationship, the hospital scientific and standardized management. However, the traditional hospital management system focuses the key point on the cost m anagement, and neglects the management of people and goods. Many tasks of the m edical staffs every day are the courses of recordings of the patients, the advices of doc tors’, the change patients’ major, turning patients’ bed, and so on. The things seem simple but to health workers they have made great pressure and annoyance.This thesis studies the digital hospital management system. We not only consider the cost management, but also pay more attention to the management of the people and things. The system will bring staf fs great advantages, such as abandon the tradition al paper office, open the doctor’s advice, record the daily course, record the medicine using, change one’s major digitizing processing, transfer information and lots of tedious work. The system implemented in this thesis brings many benefits such as realized the medical information exchange, improved the patients’ medical security and medical services, etc. And most importantly, it decreased the patients’ medical expenses reasonably through the scientifically digitalization.The system implemented in this thesis mainly has following management functions, hospitalization and leave, pa tient course, charging management, and other inform ation management. In the system implementation aspects, ASP.NET is use d as the m ain software development technology. And th e system constructed with thre e-tier architecture by Microsoft.NET. The programming language is thus the C#. The database management system is SQL Server 2008.In general, the hospital m anagement system is an im portant part of the hospital information construction. It can real-time track most of each medical staffs’ and patients’ behavior. Also it can realize th e paperless office management. At the sam e time, it promotes the comprehensive service level of the hospital, and vigorously im proves the doctor-patient relationship which m ade the management process m ore scientific and standardization. It also stim ulates and assists the hospital leadership to m ake scientific decisions.
