Design And Implementation Of The Knowledge-Based Enterprise Management Information System

With the rapid development of economy and society, the number and the scale of knowledge economy enterprises present a booming tendency. In Lixia District of Jinan, the knowledge economy enterprises gradually become a pillar industry. However, from the government’s perspective, knowledge economy enterprises are quite different from the traditional enterprises in management. The government has been unable to meet the practical needs of the management model. So the information management system will be introduced into the knowledge economy enterprise management. In this thesis, the information management system is named information management system based knowledge economy enterprises.The information management system based knowledge economy enterprises is a new mode of government management, since it combines the management information system and business intelligence. The system not only allows the government grasp the enterprise’s information easily, but also strengthens government’s management of knowledge economy enterprises. In addition, it can reduce government’s management costs and make government decisions reasonable.In this thesis, the basic theory of management information system is discussed, and the main innovation of this thesis is listed as follows:1. This system is designed, implemented, verified and maintained with the aid of software engineering. At the same time, data mining technology and information system are integrated, and then process enterprise data by using data mining techniques. Meanwhile, the information security technology is also applied to ensure the security of system’s data.2. Enterprise information reporting subsystem needs to be open for all the knowledge economy enterprises, and the primary goal is to ensure the openness of the system. Based on the B/S structure, this thesis uses Asp.Net technology to implement the web development.3. The primary aim of the information management module is to achieve the centralized data processing by means of data warehouse and data mining technology. At last, the information management system based knowledge economy enterprise provides references to make government decisions.4. Based on considerations of data security, data warehouse should meet the requirements of information security. So the management information system combines the advantages of B/S architecture and C/S architecture. For network security, the data warehouse is placed in the Lixia district government’s network center, and the Web system is stored in the internet. The information of enterprise is regularly synchronized to government’s intranet database. So, this thesis can achieve openness and security.
