Design And Implementation Of Mobile Assisted Teaching Terminal Based On Android Operation System

At the present, with the promotion and development of 3G services, the mobile intelligent terminal ownership(smart phones and tablet PCs) have been very popular to teachers and students in campus environment. The smart terminal with Android operating system Gradually expand to 3G mobile smart market, these technical update and change in hardware and software also promote the change of model in the teaching and school counseling, and the teaching assistant system has a broad application prospects based on 3G network environment. Based on Android smart terminal client platform, the paper introduced the design and implementation of Android-based mobile assisted instruction terminal system.The client plateform of the system is smart phone or tablet platform with the Android operating system, the system server with Apache+PHP+MySQL development portfolio. Based on the home and abroad study results on the network-assisted teaching system, it design the assisted teaching system based 3G platform. It focus on the shortage of the traditional networks supplementary mode and take the advantages of the 3G network, make students and teachers can be assisted learning and teaching through 3G mobile networks.The system provides students professional courses browsing problems in real-time to the teachers to ask questions and get automatic reply system; teachers browse the students’ own professional responsibility courses, online chat rooms through the system provides real-time counseling students; the system provides the traditional networks have FTP function to facilitate teachers and students to upload and download teaching resources.System throughed the datebase background server stress tests and client functionality and interface testing after it finished, the test result shows that the system has reached the requirements of the design basically and it can be put into trial operation.
