Currently the world are working on research methods early warning of fire, has developed some of the more sophisticated equipment. With the continuous development of computer technology, the use of image processing methods for fire video processing, feature extraction and recognition probability, statistics and analysis of its successive fires frame images.In this paper, continuous frame images for image pre-processing, using a histogram equalization and smoothing two kinds of preprocessing techniques. In this paper, after pretreatment images using Ostu adaptive algorithm for image segmentation. The first time through the gray values of pyrotechnics and background isolated. Second according to BGR values r values of smoke and fire separated. Segmented fireworks map, we calculated the area of smoke changes, changes in the area of fire, fire circularity changes, and changes in the contour of fire four eigenvalues.
