Among the many electronic products, chose linux as its operating system, this is due to linux itself a very good operating system, it can run stable, efficient management of hardware, provide a variety of functions upper application while there is a huge ecosystem, there are tens of thousands of software provides a variety of tools; hand, linux itself is an open source software that can be free to use, to less software and hardware company’s development costs.This paper mainly concerns the storage solutions of the consumer electronics products. With the improvement of people life, more and more high-equality multimedia are required. People want to watch and shoot HD video on portable devices. These demands require both storage media and file system on protable devices. Linux supports multiple file systems, coupled with its openness, allowing developers need to add to its internal file system.exFAT is a file system format that launched by Microsoft. It is specially designed for FLASH memory devices. Compared with FAT32 format, ex FAT format is more poweful and simple. So it is a very suitable file system format for storage of embedded devicers.In this paper, the file system format of exFAT and the kenel file system architecture of Linux are researched. And we take the transplantation and reconstruction of an exFAT file system as an example to show the factors that need to be concered to implement a file system in Linux.Finally, we hope to provide some useful technical support for the research of Linux file system. |
