In recent 40 years, it is the golden age in the development of microwave millimeter wave transceiver components. According to the requirements of subject, The theory and design for 3mm integrated transceiver components are discussed in this dissertation. This paper basicly introduces basic theories of transceiver related passive circuit design and microwave solid state components, develops 3mm hybrid integrated transceiver components, finishes the designs,processing and measurement of the components.In the first chapter, it introduces the characteristics and application of millimeter wave. Then, domestic and international developments of millimeter-wave transceiver in recent years are presented in the paper. Finally, the design of this topic is presented.In the second chapter, we present a brief introduction about the basic theory and technical indexes of transceiver. Combined with the transceiver module theory and subject index, we put forward the preliminary design of this subject.In the third chapter, the theory and design of the passive circuits which are used in this components are introduced. Firstly, This paper introduces the theory of microstrip line, and the design method of microstrip circuits. Then, it introduces the theory of waveguide to microstrip transition, and a waveguide to microstrip probe transition is designed. Finally, according to the theory of Wilkinson power divider, We finish the designs and measurement of 3mm Wilkinson power divider. In W-band, the power divider isolation is very poor without proper segregation resistance. In order to overcome this shortcoming, a modified microstrip ring bridge is designed and processed in this paper.In the forth chapter, This paper introduces the theory of solid state circuit related to this topic. Then, according to the topic design and index distribution, select the appropriate solid state circuit monolithics.In the fifth chapter, according to the design of passive circuit and the selection of solid state circuit monolithics, the final design scheme is determined. Microstrip circuit, the cavity, and the design of dc voltage circuit is introduced in detail. Then, the fabrication and testing of the transceiver are completed.In the last chapter, The full paper is summarized and the measured results are analyzed.
