With the improvement of Internet technology and the popularity of broadband users, the market for fixed-linebroadband has been developed to a basically saturated state.It is necessary tocreate more business opportunities, enhance the competitive capacity in the differentiation competition. The IPTV servicesuses the existingresources, adapts to the rapid network developmentand enhances the core competitiveness of the fixed-line operators.The IPTV uses the advantage of existing broadband infrastructure, relies on its massive, high definition stock and the internet interactive technology, has provided customers with a new generation of personalized and multi-choices TV reception mode. This has provided users with overwhelming flexible and thoughtful service compare with the old. In addition, PTV has also launched potential new business and revenue opportunities for telecom operators. Business integration is the trend of network development, the promotion of IPTV services is to impel the triple network cooperation, therefore, the outlook of IPTVis optimistic.Since 2012, the IPTV pilot project has been put into operation by B-City Unicom. The author has participated in the project and investigated current services. The research first evaluates and calculates the overall network construction and capacity to meet the requirement of IPTV service. It takes the multicast technology as the primary supporting technology to save bandwidth in network side, so as to solve the replication of video streaming. The paper elaborates on several IP multicast protocols involved in the realization of IPTV services. It formulates a deployment scheme of IPTV multicase, the authentication for network access and address allocation plan of STB. So far, the IPTV pilot project has been is in regular service at some pilot estates in the B city.In the end, the paper summarizes the plan, by considering the long-term scale development of IPTV services, puts forward the weakness of MAN in Binzhou Unicom, and looks forward to the future network optimization and reform work.
