| Along with the wave of reform and opening up, our economy and technology have already been remarkably improved as well as the living standard of our people. As the demand elevated, the furniture producing industry gradually came to play a more and more essential role in every citizen’s daily life. Meanwhile, the market began to chose the furniture products much more rigorously, which made all the furniture product companies struggling, looking forward to a way of making their products more effectively.To solve that problem, this thesis uses the Digital Image Processing Technology as a core technology, to develop a software system base on Window 7 operation system, with Qt kits. This software system is aimed to meet the needs of automatically detecting the defects on a furniture part’s surface which could greatly raise the efficiency of the industry chain. The contents of this thesis are as follows:1. Demand Analysis.For the furniture production companies, we did fair amount of relevant market research, and get the conclusion of the needs of the automatic detecting system.2. Overall design of the whole system.According to the needs of the furniture production companies, we designed an automatic detecting system which contains both hardware equipment and software system.3. Design and implementation of the image collecting equipment.The image collecting equipment is the major part of the system’s hardware whose function is to get the picture of the to-be detected furniture part and transfer it to the software system.4. Design and implementation of the software system.This part’s job is to analyze the picture of the furniture part and calculate all the provided data and come to a conclusion of the quality of the detected furniture part.5. Functional test of the system.In this thesis, we have designed and implemented the automated furniture quality detection system, and achieved the goal of this task. The value of our work will be significant for the furniture manufacture factories that are willing to improve their production line by putting in more automation equipments. |
