As a technology innovational enterprise, State Grid Electric Power Institute SMEPC’s business demands are unlike other enterprise. How to protect the safety of the core business knowledge, achieve communication and sharing of enterprise’s core business knowledge conveniently and efficiently have been discussed in detail. Knowledge management function needs personalized design and continues to improve according to the development of enterprise business. In order to master the latest technology knowledge, get the focus of the innovation direction and new ideas, it is significance to improve the innovation level.With the several years’ operation, State Grid Electric Power Institute SMEPC has accumulated lots of professional experience. The knowledge scattered among various relatively independent information systems, among the employee’s computer, and even among the colleague’s brain. It cannot be effectively sharing in daily working. Building a knowledge management system is a good chance to sort of enterprise knowledge, precipitate corporate knowledge, and make explicit knowledge principled, tacit knowledge explicitly.In this project, I am responsible for requirements, functional design, database design, resource allocation part. Based on the detailed analysis of the system demand, architecture design, system function design and database design part of the system. The function of State Grid Electric Power Institute SMEPC knowledge management system is unified search, knowledge management, my knowledge(knowledge personalization features), statistical knowledge ranking, the data interfaces and acquisition of related systems, systems management.The project research background, current status, meaning are discussed firstly. The user case analysis of knowledge management function is provided. The functional block diagram of the overall system is obtained though demand analysis, and then part of system functions are analyzed in detail. At last, projects development by using J2 EE technology and the affection of the main functions is explained.The system is running in the company network, using the B/S software architecture system which is popular now, putting Eclipse into development platform, Autonomy into unstructured platform, WebSphere into middleware, J2 EE into development framework, Oracle into background database. And now this system has been successfully test run in State Grid Electric Power Institute SMEPC. The results show that the system is reliable, stable performance, user-friendly, easy to use. The company knowledge precipitation, knowledge sharing, knowledge leveraging, knowledge innovation, taking into account the acquisition and applications of external knowledge sources were achieved. This system can build the knowledge resources with enterprises core competitiveness, create a corporate culture of knowledge sharing, reflect the essence of knowledge-driven progress, and achieve the company’s knowledge resources management. |
