| With the development of science and technology, High-definition videos has been increasingly applied to consumer electronic products like television sets and smart phones. Apart from enriching people’s daily lives, demand on quality as well as real-time of high-definition videos is increasing too. Conventional software and the singular hardware video-processing method cannot meet the demand. Thus, the Software and Hardware Co-design based on a SOPC and combines the flexibility of software and the efficiency of hardware becomes the developing trend for high-definition signal processing technology.This thesis integrates the XC7K325T chip that belongs to Kintex-7 series produced by Xilinx company with the MicroBlaze soft-core to build a general embedded video processing system. This system includes the design of hardware platform, the collection and display of high-definition video signals as well as the processing and caching of videos. By taking advantage of SOPC technology, we can separate software and hardware modules rationally, leaving the part that demands high real-time to hardwares and the controlling part to softwares. After completing the design of hardware system, it researches the transmitting principle and characteristic of HD_SDI signals as well as collecting HD_SDI signals by using GTX inside the FPGA. Depending on different application requirements, it pre-process the collected video data, then delivers it to the external SDRAM to be cached. Meanwhile, it uses MicroBlaze soft-core to build a embedded treatment system. Under the SDK integrated development environment, realize the settings on the output chip of HDMI and the clock chip by invoking the IIC controller. After completing the design of fundamental modules as the collection, pre-processing, caching and display of high-definition videos, by choosing the Video Scaler IP core extracted from polyphase, we realize the goal of live resizing the input videos to whatever scales. Experiments proves that this system can basically meet the need for precision and speed in processing high-definition videos, and it is a high-definition video signal processing platform of commonality and practicability. |
