Compared with the traditional radio, software defined radio has advantages of modularization, standardization, reconfiguration and programmability. Therefore, many kinds of communication functions can be implemented on the standard software radio platform through software programming.TD-SCDMA is a mobile communication technique. China has independent intellectual property rights of it. It is one of today’s mainstream 3G standards, which has succeeded in commercial. So it has realistic significance on developing TD-SCDMA waveform on software radio platform.For this reason, the thesis concentrates on the development and implementation of TD-SCDMA physical layer waveform on the software defined radio platform(uSDR), specific work is as follows:Firstly, analyze Uu interface of the TD-SCDMA physical layer protocols. On the basis of the protocols research, analyze the physical layer waveform target of TD-SCDMA, including application constraints, design objective and overall structure.Secondly, study the key techniques of physical layer from the view of engineering, including direct sequence spread spectrum, digital frequency conversion, time synchronization and channel estimation. Then propose a design scheme of waveform and design the waveform including transmitter and receiver. On the condition that signal-to-noise ratio is 8.0 dB,the error rate of simulation has dropped to 10-3, achieving the basic requirements of voice communication;Finally, according to the waveform design scheme, implement and verify the waveform. The part of implementation provides the signal description of unit, internal process of unit and connection relationship between units. The part of test uses the function module test and file transfer test to verify the function, uses the bit error rate test and resource usage analysis to assess the performance. The result of bit error rate test is 1.5 dB worse than the simulation.The thesis designs and realizes the TD-SCDMA physical layer waveform on software defined radio platform. Provide the platform for learning and practicing TD-SCDMA technique and software defined radio technique, which can be used for teaching experiment of colleges, universities and research institutions. At the same time, it also enriches the waveform of software radio platform and provides reference for the more complex waveform development on the software radio platform in the future.
