In the information warfare, the opposing sides in order to obtain the information advantage, a fierce battle of taking the electromagnetic superiority was carried out. Complex electromagnetic environment is the stage and an very important part of the information-based war. The information war in the future, influence of battlefield electromagnetic environment will be more extensive, if there is no understanding of the complex electromagnetic and correct respond to this, no matter the battlefield information acquisition, decision-making or the weapon power properly, will be seriously affected. Therefore, understanding and study the complex electromagnetic environment has become an urgent problem.There are lots of research achievements of complexity electromagnetic environment simulation at home and aboard, which mainly were divided into hardware-in-the-loop and digital simulation. Accuracy of the digital simulation is not high and the fidelity of the electromagnetic environment is poor. Due to the lack of interaction information among the simulators in hardware-in-the-loop simulation, the simulators can’t work together and the coordination ability of them is poor, the capacity of the hardware-in-the-loop simulation to construct complex dynamic electromagnetic environment is still limited.According to the above problems, after deeply analyzing of the construction principle to the complex electromagnetic environment and the characteristics of NCW, this paper proposes a simulation method to the complex electromagnetic environment based on NCW. It designs a simulation system and a network simulation platform to realize it according to the NCW the theory of network centric warfare. It researches the key technologies to realize the simulation platform, parts of simulation system software are realized. At last it tests and verifies the functions of the network simulation platform and system, then gives the analysis of the adaptability of the whole simulation system.This paper consists of three parts:First of all, this paper analyzes the concept, structure and characteristics of the complex electromagnetic environment. It gives construction principle of the complex electromagnetic environment, establishes mathematical model of the signals and the pulse description word model. It introduces the application of signal generator in the construction of electromagnetic environment and the GPIB. And then it gives the model of the electromagnetic environment complexity according to the theory of gray relational degree.Secondly, it gives the concept and analyses the characteristics of NCW. It designs the complex electromagnetic environment simulation system based on NCW, then it gives the logic relationship of each function module of the system and the design of the control subsystem、simulation subsystem、monitor subsystem. The design scheme of network simulation platform to realize the system is given.Finally, this paper researches the realization of the simulation system. It gives the key technologies of the platform realizing, and realizes the simulation control center software、the simulation software and the monitor software based on the above scheme. Then it tests and verifies the functions of the network simulation platform and the whole simulation system. At last, the complexity of the electromagnetic environment is evaluated and the adaptability of the whole simulation system is analyzed.
