BACnet/IP Based Gateway System For Intelligent Buildings

As a branch of information automation area, integration system of intelligent building has been developed into an industry, and with broad prospects for development. Intelligent building management system IBMS is an intelligent integrated information system for traditional architecture automatic control system. Nowadays, intelligent products which based on the integrated application of XML/SOAP real-time data with modern industrial standard are very rare in the market. Therefore, integration system of intelligent building has great application prospect, and it can be extended to other information automation industry.The main purpose of this paper is to find the way to integrate the gateway based on BACnet/IP protocol of intelligent building with intelligent building management system, and solves the incompatible problem of building automatic control system equipment, and then makes the equipment of different manufacturers access system simultaneously, and communicates with each other.This paper firstly introduces the concept of automation network data communication protocol in BACnet intelligent building, describes the system structure and function of BACnet.Then this paper introduces Web services technology and extensible markup language-XML. The general information model need information exchange in a specific and general way. Web service technology can share and exchange the information on the internet in safe, because it is completely based on XML, it can regulate, security, realize the information sharing and exchange based on internet.This paper designs an intelligent building management system integration framework, which based on Web service. This framework, effectively reducing the system complexity and workload, improves the security and stability of system through uses subsystem as an integrated unit. The Web service supporting for Internet also make the integration system of intelligent building break the restrictions of geographical and Ian, through the Web service supporting to the internet.This paper finally introduces the configuration and deployment test environment of building control gateway system hardware, and based on that makes the data polling test and service test to the WebService interface. The experimental results show that the design of the gateway system is stable, and the performance and the design meet various requirements.
