Along with the progress of society,the development of science and technology,and the continuous improvement of the living standards of people,the growing amount of goods and the huge building area meet the demand of consumers.At the same time, the work of the inventory of the goods consumes a lot of time and needs a lot of people to do these work.As the development of robots technology, computer technology and communication technology,the machine replacing people complete the repetitive work gradually,reducing the workload. Upon the large supermarket robot automatic inventory system as the research background, the thesis designed and implemented the inventory robot system basing on RFID technology.The thesis is basing on embedded system and robot machine, a new control system for tracking robot is presented in the paper, which can complete the robotic romote control mission, gather the RFID label information and report the result to management software through TCP/IP. For the robot platform, both relative hardware and software is realized and experiment reveals that the platform can successfully complete the relative missions, such as listening and sending relative messages to the server computer via internet on real time, reading RFID label, acting the control command sended by the clinet running on PC and complete the mobile mission, and the accuracy can be accepted.Firstly,the thesis introduces the RFID technology, robot technology and the development of RFID technology.Secondly, it introduces the automatic inventory system basing on RFID, and the designing scheme of the inventory robot system.Then, it introduces the control system,including the module of the central controller, the module of wireless transmission, the module of the robot movement, the module of RFID tag information collection, the module of the payload private servers control and power module design.Finally, this paper introduces the design of hardware and software of the control system and the whole system was tested. The experiment shows that robot automatic inventory system meet the requirements.
