| In millimeter wave circuits and systems, W band has been applied more and more in homing missile guidance and electronic warfare. W-band frequency receiving module as a key part of the receiver and its quality directly determines the reception reliability and practicability of the system. So for a W-band frequency converter has important significance. At present, foreign W band equipment has entered the practical stage, and developed to the higher frequency.Domestic reports on the development of the W band transceiver are relatively few. The main task of this paper is to study the specific design method of the receiver of the frequency conversion of 3mm.In this paper, the design of the W- band receiving component system adopts super heterodyne design and realized by the hybrid IC. The single branch includes a mirror frequency suppression of the cavity filter, waveguide and microstrip transition, active monolithic MMIC and IF filter.According to the research object and user’s request, determine the receiving scheme and estimate the index in the early stage. Choose the MMIC chip for the project and use the 3mm frequency chip which we independently developed in our country. The basic theory and design of the passive circuit such as the waveguide- microstrip circuit, the filter circuit are emphatically introduced, and the simulation optimization is carried out and the physical processing is finished. The mirror frequency suppression filter was put in the end of waveguide flange plate, separation with planar circuits, convenient replacement; the unit circuit test cavity is produced using multi-layer way, so as to achieve the purpose of effectively reused and save resources. Integrated MMIC monolithic and passive circuit, we have completed the overall circuit layout of the receiver, and the planar microstrip circuit, the cavity structure and the bias power plate design and processing. Complete system of passive circuit part of the test, obtain the stage results.Finally, summarize the research content of this project, and give the next work improvement plan. |
