| How to face the hospital all levels of management to establish effective data integration using mechanism, improve the management efficiency, is an urgent problem to be solved. Analyzing the present situation of medical data is complex: mass of medical information scattered in different systems, it is difficult to grasp the meaning and trend data real. Despite the establishment of the query analysis decision support system, but due to a variety of styles form variety, demand is complicated and changeable, cause the system cannot be compatible with a variety of format requirements report. Building complex, data quality is not high, the analysis method is not perfect data model, which is used on the system analysis, but ultimately rely on "tap a head" decision making. The deficiency of data consistency, different data needs to use different tools, information management processes and low efficiency. The user can not get the correct information timely.Hospital decision support system is an information management system which can meet the needs of different types of hospital decision analysis. Through this system, the president of hospital can manage the business status, department management layer can handle and analyze the status of each level, and the doctor executive layer can know the daily affairs easily. This paper mainly studies a hospital dcision support system which is based on fully research and accorded with the needs of users. We combined former system and latest information system construction case and used J2 EE technique to construct this flexible and intelligent decision support system.We apply the DataStage as a ETL tool and extract, transform and load the useful data to build a data warehouse. Based on this data warehouse, we implement the OLAP multiple dimensions analysis in using Cognos. Through drilling, slicing and rotating the multiple dimensions data sets in different ways, we will present the data to users flexibly. This decision support system will help analyzing plenty of medical data, digging out the useful information, and converting it to the knowledge which can be used in the future. This knowledge can provide support programs to the medical activity decisions.The goals of this system is to help the hospitals taking full advantages of the data sources which are prduced by their business operation support system, such as HIS, LIS, PACS and etc. The deep digging and forecasting of data and intuiting view will provide the scientific decision basis of hospitals’ operation, clinical care and medical research. These all will improve the hospitals’ core competitiveness. |
