| This paper applies risk management theories to the client credit risk management of the publishing industry. It makes use of "5C"Model and other theories to analyze the problems with the client credit risk management of D Publishing House. It uses Logistics Model to calculate the client credit risk, and finds out the solutions to the problems. The paper aims to increase the efficiency of the client credit risk management of the publishing industry so that the risks could be better dealt with.The paper studies risk management theories and relative risk management models, describes the problems with D Publishing House’s human resources regulations, client credit survey, risk assessment on the client credit, cash discount, client credit granting decision and collection of receivables, presents the solutions to the problems based on the theories, and brings forward the conclusion, that is, publishing companies should find out and solve the problems with the client credit risk management system in time; publishing companies should set up the most suitable the client credit risk management system according to their own conditions; publishing companies should continuously have their knowledge about client credit risk management updated and apply advanced methods to deal with risks. It is hoped that the research methods and conclusion can be learnt by other publishing houses and companies so that their management of the client credit risk and further the whole management level could be improved. |
