The well-known ERP Software, SAP, has a history of more than 40 years. It is applied by many multinational corporations to manage the materials procurement intensively. Although SAP has a long history and a good reputation in terms of maturity, functionality and stability, it has shortcomings. Firstly, the high cost Annual fee for a single account rages from thousands to tens of thousands, charged in RMB Yuan. Secondly, not all customization for enterprises can be fulfilled. Furthermore, its operational processes are too complex, therefore it takes time to train the user. To improve the overstocking of spare part, high material procurement cost and unnecessarily large number of SAP accounts being used, herein a software for parts distribution and order is developed, using SAP interface. With this software, only a single SAP account is needed to complete the internal and external procurement for parts; it can get historical procurement data and forecast the future procurement data. It reduces inventory and cost, and in addition, improves user’s efficiency.This study includes the following:1) The business modeling and system requirement analysis. This paper establishes the procurement relational model between central warehouse and agents through virtual national warehouse. It also establish business model of internal and external procurement processes. It identifies all roles and responsibilities based on modeling, and analyze system functions with use case.2) Software architectural design. This paper takes layer architecture to design the system logic view. Considering the performance and cold backup, It also takes C/S architecture to design system deployment view, It uses ER Diagram to design the database structure and defines stored procedures and functions. System consists of internal procurement sub-system and external procurement sub-system, developed by.NET frame. It communicates to SAP through SAP interface.3) Design and implementation of key technologies. This system’s client detects new version and upgrades automatically. This system applies workflow technique to manage parts, and applies rule engine to calculate key parameter. It uses application client cache in the system to shorten system response time, and achieves common functions through AOP technology.4) System testing. This paper tests system functions completely, covering all event flows of all use cases. It tests performance through simulating the largest concurrency and most interactive in actual environment. The testing result shows that the system fulfills system goal and requirements. Currently this system is during commissioning.
