As the mobile Internet era, the Android platform has been become very popular. Now that Android application markets are generally confused caused by their confused authentication mechanism. The applications downloaded and installed by users are the most likely to repackage of the application with malicious code. Meanwhile, third-party input method could not completely protect the input or password input especial. And custom soft keyboard is just for the particular application. In recent years, wearable smart devices, as a new force, is suddenly rising. Meanwhile, smart watches are more and more high-profile as an branch of wearable smart devices. While, the research for it is insufficient and the development method and process is vague. To solve the above problems, this thesis proposes a novel scheme which using wearable smart device like smart watch to input password combination software and hardware. Sony SmartWatch2 with low power consumption advantages because it’s embedded devices. Besides, it can be connected to any Android device and the development framework is open-source. Therefore we select the SmartWatch2 as the research object as the password input terminal. Users enter the password on it then the password sent to the application which needs the password by particular broadcast. Based on studying and researching the architecture and development framework of Sony SmartWatch2, the scheme combines with permission mechanism, hardware binding and RSA encryption to secure the input process. The scheme makes use of Android permission mechanism to safeguard the broadcast transmission and reception. Hardware binding make use of the uniqueness for bluetooth MAC address to ensure user can only one device to input. RSA encryption technology protects the security of password data transmission. The scheme realised in the this thesis protect the password input process on Android device, and secure the password to some extent. It meets users’ needs of the protection of personal information in daily life. Meanwhile, this thesis is in the hope of guiding the research and development for wearable smart devices and their applications, and promoting the development for the wearable smart devices.
