| As the data source of video surveillance system, high definition network digital video camera has an advantage of higher definition, more intelligent analysis, further transmission distance, and more simple to manage and deploy. It can bring innovation changes for surveillance industry, which means the studying of high definition network digital video camera technology is very important.An Embedded software of high definition digital video camera has been designed, which is based on TMS320DM368 hardware platform and TI Davinci software platform. The capture, processing, encoding of audio and video data has been designed in the audio and video processing module which is based on TI Davinci software platform, and an optimization parameters of H.264 encoding has been put forward. A RTSP protocol streaming media server has been designed based on open source software live555, which is designed for multimedia streaming server. The event module has been redefined in the new streaming media sever which can significantly improve the efficiency of the server. A system server module contains extra function which are designed for practical use. The alarm server send a message to user when an interest thing happened in the video camera or in the picture. The heartbeat application is designed using the SSDP protocol.Some experiments have been disgned to test the function and the performance of the software. The experiments’ results show that the software can work stably by captureing, processing, and encodeing the audio and video data. The streaming media server can transfer the data to the client by network using the RTSP protocol. The web server can be visited by Internet browser in local network, and parameters of the video camera can be set in the web pages. |
