With the development of Global Navigation Satellite System and its world-spread use in many fields, the traditional BPSK signal can’t meet the needs of many users for its signal structure, positioning accuracy and overlap of the limit spectrum. Herein, the BOC Modulation has been adopted by many countries. The BOC signals can split the spectrum while share the same frequency bin. Although BOC signals have many advantages in high-accuracy positioning and anti-jamming, its multi-peak autocorrelation function leads to the ambiguous problems.The development of GNSS promotes the multiple mode navigation receivers and chips a trend. In the implement of a track channel of a GNSS receiver, a unified design with different parameters attracts a lot of interests. Under these circumstances, this paper gives a research of the new-styled signal and its implements. The paper is aimed at the application of a GNSS receiver. The Whole structure of this paper is organized as follows:Firstly, some properties of new-styled signals are analyzed, including the correlation functions and power spectral density. The theory of acquisition of GNSS signals is given, including the traditional signals and the new-styled signals. A comparison of several techniques about BOC signals’ acquisition is given. The result shows that BPSK-like method is a better choice compared to the other two ways. What’s more, a new technique about side-peak cancellation is analyzed, followed by its implement. The new technique can reduce the side-peak efficiently. The simulation shows this method can lower 6.5db compared to the side-peak of its correlation functions.Secondly, the theories of tracking are analyzed, including the traditional BPSK signals and new-styled signal. Simulation has been given for some existing methods that can cancel the ambiguous problem. And a comparison has been given. The result shows that ASPeCT method and double estimator is more efficient.Finally, a structure based on a GNSS receiver that reduces the quantity of computation of acquisition is introduced. The structure results a typical reduction when the input data width and sample frequency is given. The channel can be designed with flexibility. Here the unified design of a track channel with different parameters is given. The design can be given a parameter in the top module. The design shows great advantages. The design based on hardware shows that all of the implements meet the needs of the application. This design of the GNSS receiver can directly be applied in the receivers implement.
