As the energy and environmental problems increasingly prominent, the attention of international has been paid to the energy saving lighting gradually, and the concept of ’Green Lighting’ is put forward. In recent years, the use of natural light has been recognized by the lighting industry widely. It is more urgently need to design a new lighting control system with the emergence of LED light source and the increasing diversity pursued in lighting functionality. This system should on the basis of meeting the comfortable indoor light environment,and maximize the rational use of natural light to save energy.This paper introduces a new office lighting control system, which called energy saving office lighting control system based on natural lighting. This system adopts ’Daylight Control’ strategy, combines natural lighting and artificial lighting according to traditional lighting control solutions. From the whole consideration of light and heat, the paper makes out a natural lighting energy saving control strategy of office space to achieve ideal effect of global optimization of visual comfort and energy saving, and realize ‘Green Lighting’. The concrete research contents are as follows:The paper finishes the design of energy saving office lighting control system based on natural lighting by using the DALI protocol and LED lighting technology. This system’s overall structure is designed. It gives the detailed design of hardware system of master unit and slave unit, and the related software design ideas and program flows are also discussed. It carries out the system’s overall control strategy to make the natural lighting control and artificial lighting control can organic combination. The fuzzy control strategy based on the structure of hierarchical multiple rule sets is used in natural lighting control. On the premise of lighting quality, strategies are set on different conditions to reduce energy consumption at the sacrifice of some visual comfort. This method is verified by Matlab simulation. When the natural lighting can’t meet the illumination indoor, artificial lighting and the practical application of office lighting control system designed in this paper are studied and instructed, to further improve the system function.
