Research And Implementation Of The Online Communication Platform Based On Server Push Technology

With the rapid development of the Internet technology, applications based on the Internet become diverse. The online communication platform based on the Web comes out, it is growing fast in popularity. The technology of serve-push is one of the Web instant messaging technologies, it is widely applied to the development of real time systems such as Web instant messaging and stock price system, it is the main support of online communication platform. In this paper, on the basis of the server-push technology, do an in-depth research the design and implementation of online communication platformIn the design process of online communication platform with information sharing, server-push technology is applied to achieve the online communication and push information between users. To apply real-time of server-push technology can accurately in real time send information to the specified users, and ensure real-time online interaction.Firstly, study and compared the principle and the way to work of kinds of technologies related on server push, focus on study of two kinds of server push technology based on Comet and Web Socket. The study determined to use Comet technology which is based on HTTP long connection and Web Socket, and carry out the designing scheme of server-push framework of the online communication platform according to the specific needs of the actual development of online communication platform.Secondly, the server push technology is applied to the development of real-time information interaction framework of the online communication platform, design server-push framework of online communication platform. According to the functional requirements of the online communication platform, apply long-polling based on Ajax technology to implement Comet technology, and design the detailed structure of server-push framework architecture combining the Web Socket technology, divide the server-push framework into persistent connections module, message forwarding module, message processing module, the client browser display module and realize the function of each function module.Thirdly, design and implement an online communication platform with information sharing and test it. The test content includes the load capacity test for long connection of server-push framework of the online communication platform and function test of the online communication platform. Then, analyze usage of memory and CPU resources of server.
