With the impact of economic globalization and new media, Chinese TV stations are facing a fierce competition.’Super Girl’ has laid a solid foundation for Hunan TV,the achievements of ‘If you are the one’ has made Jiangsu TV a success,besides,’The Voice of China’ has created a famous brand ‘China Blue’for Zhejiang TV.’If you get the variety show, you will get the whole world’ is a golden rule for media workers who have devoted themselves for a long time in this field.‘The reality show’plays a vital role in the type of the variety show.The reality show of China starts lately,with intensive purchasing excellent programs from abroad, Chinese have to create their own products through imitating the foreign ones.The article will discuss how to develop and innovate Chinese reality show by comparing that between China and Korea, I will take ‘Where are we going’ as an example.Hunan TV’s latest reality show ‘Where are we going’ is the copyright of the Korean programme ‘Daddy,Where are we going’ of MBC TV. The article will discuss the development of reality show between China and Korea, and take ‘Where are we going’ as an example to study and conclude the efforts and problems in the process of imitating so that reasonable imitation and creative principles can be carried, such as own creativity, adaptive culture, high technique and so on. What’s more, the article will discuss the developing trend of our country’s reality show,such as according to the intergrated marketing and pay attention to the branches of brands; according to the local characteristics and pay attention to cultural foreign affairs.For problems in the development of Chinese "reality show", we should keep tolerant attitude, improve them while imitating and make innovation while referring.
