High frequency radio communication regarded as a main telecommunication method has been widely used in government,military,diplomatic,weather,business,and many other departments, especially in the domain of military telecommunication. High frequency radio access network abandons the traditional HF radio point to point network, guiding by the ideology of commercial cellular mobile communication network, constructs IP bearing network via fixing a wire connected communication station. Through the station, the mobile HF users’ random access in wide area can be achieved. Currently in the field of HF communication, this new network communication security mode still in the preliminary studying stage, the analysis concerning guaranteeing aspect such as the covering ability, network capacity, etc. has a remarkable significance on the HF radio access network’s development, testing, application. Under this background, this paper, in the framework of stochastic Petri net, researches the survivability of access network. The Petri nets has a powerful modeling ability and descriptive and analyzing ability, with the help of Petri nets, this paper establishes the HF radio access network mobile user access process’ s stochastic Petri net model, failure model, fix model, redundant standby model and then evaluates the survivability of the HF radio access network.The main work and contribution:Firstly, this paper analyzes the background and current situation of the survivability research summarizes the current theoretical method and the enhancement technology of the survivability, introduces the Petri net, the related knowledge of Petri net and uses stochastic Petri net modeling analysis method to do the researching job.Secondly, this paper describes the important status and role of the HF radio communication, introduces the system composition, node function and the access mechanism in detail. The network information system of survivability is introduced to study the survivability of HF radio access network access process. This paper analyzes the research on survivability of access network, methods to conduct the research on survivability in access network, the modeling method and the index system’s establishment and other related issues, through the correctness of simulation modeling and get the simulation results, the failure-repair model and enhancement-design model of HF radio mobile users access process can be survival calculation, has initially solved the HF radio access network survivability to quantify, and the indicators of survival analysis.Thirdly, this paper applies the random Petri net theory about discrete,asynchronous,concurrent system to the HF radio access net system. In this paper, by using stochastic Petri net to model the access network access process model, carries on the simplification to the access process stochastic Petri net model, combined with the failure model, failure-repair model that Markov chain model having the same structure with stochastic Petri net has been achieved, Finally through the comparative analysis of the two models the relationship between survival and failure rate and repair rate, And verify survival and reinforcement design is to improve the survivability of HF access network.
