With the continuous development of wireless mobile communication technology, TD-LTE-A system is still studied by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project. Coordinated Multiple Points Transmission/Reception, which is the key technology of TD-LTE-A system, not only has promoted the transmission rate of system information and decreased inter-cell interference, but also has extended cell coverage range and improved system users’ throughput, especially for the edge-cell users’ throughput. Meanwhile, with continual evolution of communication technology, the associated energy consumption is increasing. To meet the demand of green communication, the research of energy efficiency is carrying out. Therefore, the energy efficiency of Co MP in TD-LTE-A system is thoroughly researched.In this paper, the Co MP technology of TD-LTE-A system is first researched, where its technology category, coordinated sets and network scenarios are summarized and concluded particularly. Then, the resource allocation algorithms, beamforing algorithms and power allocation algorithm are researched in this paper. For resource allocation algorithm, the theory of Round Robin, Max C/I and Proportional Fair are given and analyzed. Comparing with other algorithms, Proportional Fair algorithm, which can not only balance the fairness between users but also improve the system throughout, has better performance than others. For beamforming algorithm, the theory of Zero Forcing, Minimum Mean Square Error, Block Diagonalization and Signal to Leakage and Noise are given and analyzed. Through the simulation comparison, we can gain that, Signal to Leakage and Noise has better performance than other algorithms. It can reduce the interference between users effectively. For power allocation, the theory of water-filling algorithm is given. By analyzed, water-filling algorithm can achieve the optimization of system throughput through optimal power allocation.Afterwards, we optimize the energy efficiency in multi-cell coordinated homogeneous network of TD-LTE-A system. Firstly, we analyze multi-cell coordinated homogeneous network scenario and build the optimization model of energy efficiency. Secondly, we optimize energy efficiency combined with resource allocation, beamforming and power allocation, and propose the i terative optimal algorithm of energy efficiency based on multi-cell coordinated homogeneous network. The simulation result illuminates that, the optimization of energy efficiency could be guaranteed when this optimal algorithm is used, while system throughput decline is very little. In the end, based on the TD-LTE-A system-level simulation platform of multi-cell coordinated homogeneous network built in this paper, the parameters of the system performance are analyzed.Finally, we optimize the energy efficiency in single-cell e Node B and lower power RRH coordinated heterogeneous network of TD-LTE-A system. Firstly, we analyze single-cell e Node B and lower power RRH coordinated heterogeneous network scenario and build the optimization model of energy efficiency. Secondly, based on the proposed optimal algorithm, we optimize energy efficiency combined with resource allocation, beamforming and power allocation, and achieve the optimization of energy efficiency in single-cell e Node B and lower power RRH coordinated heterogeneous network. In the end, based on the TD-LTE-A system-level simulation platform of ingle-cell e Node B and lower power RRH coordinated heterogeneous network built in this paper, the parameters of the system performance are analyzed.
