Geographic Information System is a kind of the interdisciplinary application system which is based on computer technology development, computer hardware and software sup port, realize the geographic data input, storage, retrieval, calculation, display and analysis. Its provided powerful geography data visualization functions, spatial database management function and the spatial analysis function, this provided powerful support for realize marine site survey spatial data processing and display platform system."Marine site survey spatial data processing and display platform" is in the XX project funding which is based on the existing research,analysis, results validate and the GIS technology, taking the spatial data and attribute data, map data as the main material, n ot only realized the conversion from data to information and analysis process, also provides a mass storage and management of submarine terrain data, geological data and field data. On the basis of the data warehouse system, the application system which is based on GIS technology and visual analysis technology, also played a supporting role in the the inserted pile location and auxiliary decision. This system not only has the theoretical significance for the petroleum exploration at disaster prediction and prevention ofinstrumentation but also has important practical significance.This paper detail introduces the design and realization process of marine site surveyspatial data processing and display platform system.the paper first introduced the spatial database theory, development history, construction method and so on, and then depth analysis and research GIS two development theory especially the ArcGIS Engine technology, to the relational database of management we study the object oriented NHibernate technology. According to the characteristics of marine geographic information data in the process of site survey and large amount of source, the system first to carry on processing to the data source to ensure the standardization of data and facilitate the integration, management, maintenance and data sharing. On this basis, we preliminary analysis and implementation those functions such as the system user management, data source of the system settings, business data management, metadata management, map editing, cartographic visualization, query, statistics, analysis, data import and export and so on.
