| Principle of Automatic Control is a specialized course related to electricity in higher vocational colleges. In the course of teaching, we often meet the following problems: It needs more mathematical knowledge, and higher vocational students’ mathematics foundation is generally poor; It needs more use of graphics in the systematic research and analysis; It’s not good to cultivate students’ ability as the relevant experimental equipment is relatively lack in higher vocational colleges.In order to solve these problems, the paper puts forward that the virtual teaching experimental platform of automatic control, based on MATLAB/GUI design, can be designed and used to make up the situation of lacking of experimental equipment in higher vocational colleges, as well as to aid teaching. This paper mainly introduces that the virtual teaching experiment platform can be designed and developed under the MATLAB software environment, by using of the graphic user interface design function(GUI) and its control system toolbox. It includes the design idea, the procedure, the help file, the callback function and the final results of six interfaces: the interface of the functional modules, the time domain analysis module, the frequency domain analysis module, and the root locus analysis module.After the completion of this virtual platform, one class is selected for the teaching reform of this course and the feedback results are also made. It is proved that this virtual platform can effectively help students to improve their learning interest, solve the problems encountered in the course of learning, exercise the students’ ability to learn independently and to improve the whole teaching effect of the cours. |
