Traditional access control system always has the shortage of simple structure, single function, poor reliability and low security, which can’t fulfill people’s high standards for security and comfort in this nodel and technological society. With the characters of uniqueness, high stability, easy to collect, difficult to copy, high security, fingerprint identification technology become the most widely used method in identity authentication on the market recently. And the most typical applications of it is that the second generation ID card begins to collect fingerprints information. These characters of fingerprint identification technology can precisely solve the problem that traditional access control system couldn’t meet people’s requirement. On the basis of above situation, a multi-door access control system based on fingerprint identification technology and real-time image acquisition is put forward in this paper.First, it contains hardware of fingerprint module, GSM module, Wi-Fi module, carema, electronic lock, streeing gear in this systemSecond, software is designed as followings:1.Finish the design of lower computer system software which contains subroutine of UART send and receive, subroutine of opening the door with fingerprint, subroutine of fingerprints database management, subroutine of wireless telephone and message alarm through GSM, subroutine of Wi-Fi module’s communication, subroutine of controlling steering gear by PWM, etc.2.Design and implementation of the monitor software on Android telephone.3.Design and implementation of the monitor software on PC,Third, the system can control four or more doors at the same time, it can open corresponding door with legal fingerprint and manage fingerprints database. Meanwhile it will send a message and ring a call to the telephone of the owner through the GSM module when the system gets illegal fingerprints for three times. Android phone and PC can also control the steering gear to make the camera track in 360-degrees so that the owner can monitor the situation comprehensively through Wi-Fi technology, which makes this access control system safer and more reliable.Because of multi-door control, the system not only can be applied to individual households, but also can be a very good application to residential, factories, schools and other places.
