Study Of Test Method And Implementation For BSS System

BSS(Business support system)is the main system of current communication operation software. It combines CRM/Billing/UPC etc. as a whole complete system.Software test plays as one of the key pre-conditions of the whole software qualification, as well as a very important role in software engineering. As the development of software, software test is playing a more and more key role in software development and release. It’s more than just a period of the development, but through all the developing process from the very beginning. From the aspect of software development time, software test process can be divided into several periods as below: Module test/Unit Test/Integration Test/System Test and so on. These different tests are closely linked, they play different roles in the process and none of them can be ignored.The study of this paper is mainly about to fill the blank of BSS system test-lack of detailing in the business process based integration test. For the purpose of completing the test process so that can make an insurance of the BSS system quality.This paper mainly analyzes the application of process test in BSS system. It takes in the engineering thinking, combine with the BSS system features, and then provide a whole test method and test case. Also verify them during action.BSS system is developed by Java, so point the language’s features, we take different kinds of test instead of the old one. And as the 00 language does not owns different level structure, traditional test methods like From Top To Toe & From bottom to Head is not suitable.For all the features, we mainly take process based test and function based test.Function test ignore the structure of the inside program, focus on the function features. Also different functions are linked so that can link them to a whole test process; Follow based test, focus on program control structure and data to test, every process can be integrated and tested separately, then re-test will make confirmation of the quality.Due to BSS system is updating and modifying, different systems’ interfaces and the whole system function will be challenged. So via different kinds of test methods, analyze the system and modules, will solve the problem’s issues.Through the study of this paper, we will know the basic theory of test, then see the test principle and process, test cases design and know about the systems application and effect under a huge system test, also the problems and solutions during test.
