| With the continuous progress of science and technology, the hardware performance of the mobile terminal is continuously improved and the population of mobile phones may take some new ways to the education of museum. Due to the portability of smart phones, people could get and share information everywhere. Augmented Reality(AR) is a live direct or indirect view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are augmented(or supplemented) by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data, to improve the user’s subjective feeling ability. In addition, smart phones could provide many kinds of exhibition, by the way of displaying the museum collections in mobile phones’ application can resolve the shortage of display mode and interactive user-unfriendly.In this paper, our application explores the new mode of travel to provide cultural information for tourists, we studied and developed a museum exhibition system by augumented reality. We try to explore a new mode of museum exhibition, and study the application and development of augumented reality in mobile phones. In this paper, we first introduces the principle of augumented reality, then based on the characteristics of the current smart phone processing ability and the characteristics of the screen display, we study the visual tracking registration technology, finally we use the registration algorithm based on artificial identification tracking.This paper proves the feasibility of the augmented reality system on the Android platform through experiments, our system can identify different angles of marks rapidly and accurately, and a load the pre-designed three dimensional model at the same time, we provide other information such as multi-media and location information. Finally, through the experimental analysis verify the effectiveness of the improved algorithm. According to the proposed algorithm and the actual demands of the museum, we designed and implemented a mobile augmented reality system based on the museum tour system. |
