Wireless sensor network (WSN) as an important carrier of the Internet of things, get more and more attention at home and abroad. Typically, WSN deployed in the field of environment, such as applied in the field of protection of soil sites, wild animals or the protection of the environment, and so on and so forth. With the application of WSN more and more, it’s also coupled with the emergence of a lot of problems. For example:Volcano environmental monitoring environment, in order to be adapted to different changes in the status of the volcano, WSN need to be able to dynamically adjust its transmission cycle from collection and to accommodate the needs of people for volcano monitoring. Meanwhile, in terms of sensor networks, the most important thing is the lifetime of the network, how to save network energy consumption and prolong the lifetime of network problems aroused the interest of many researchers. The duty cycling modes of WSN is part of these solutions.For wireless sensor networks, on the one hand its traditional way based on the information generated by the request cannot solve the problem node dynamically adjust acquisition and transmission cycle. On the other hand, many researchers put forward various duty-cycling modes for short cycle of incident response, and carried on the thorough research to get a lot of effective solution. However, for duty-cycling mode of incident response for a long period of dormancy, few can make a real deployment solution. So depending on the above problem, this paper proposes a new solution method. Using cable network Named Data Networking (NDN) advantages and characteristics of the combination of a wireless sensor network. This paper proposes a new wireless sensor network protocol framework NDSN (Named Data Sensor Network). NDSN based information seekers (Consumer-Driver) of the request to change the traditional way of sending sensor networks based on the information generated by the approach, so that it can dynamically resolve the acquisition and transmission cycle. At the same time, this paper proposes a method of duty-cycling mode based on NDSN, through theoretical analysis and simulation experiment and real deployment we validate the method is higher than the traditional method of asynchronous duty-cycling protocols. This article mainly from the following aspects was studied:(1) This paper proposes a new structure of WSN protocol, Named Data Sensor Network (NDSN), solves the dynamic adjusting node capture and transfer cycle.(2) Using NDSN system put forward a new method of wireless sensor network (WSN) duty-cycling protocols, it is mainly suitable for incident response environment for a long period of time.Compared to the traditional asynchronousduty-cycling protocols it can reduce the energy consumption of the whole network, prolong the life cycle of the network.(3) Through theoretical analysis, simulation analysis and real deployment verify the validity of the method of duty-cycling protocols based on NDSN.At the same time, this paper introduced the actual deployment will NDSN system, from the real-world data validation NDSN system can be deployed.Compared with the existing network system of WSN, this paper puts forward the NDSN system can dynamically adjust the acquisition and transfer of the node. And take advantage of NDSN protocol in the design of the system. Puts forward the method of duty-cycling protocol based on NDSN reduces the network energy consumption and prolongs network lifetime.
