A Research Of Moving Object Monitoring And Alarming Based On Embedded System

The topic comes from the project of China shipping safety monitoring system(Dalian). The main design objective is to study a kind of monitoring and alarming system based on embedded system. This topic is the project’s application service development of wireless video surveillance system which is established in covering Dalian to Yantai route. It aims at the weak link of the ship’s video surveillance image.With the rapid development of hardware and software technology depended on embedded system, the embedded system itself has been developed rapidly. The embedded system has the characteristics of flexible networking, high reliability, strong anti-interference ability, low power consumption and large network capacity, which plays a significant role in the field of computer application and control. According to the actual demand of ship video monitoring, the thesis puts forward a feasible design scheme of intelligent video monitoring and alarming system based on embedded technology and the advantage of the network. The system can realize automatic monitoring and alarming when the ship holds or the place which is needed to be monitored enter into moving objects. The remote users can not only achieve real-time check for monitoring video through the network, but also adjust the direction of the camera according to the real needs. The hardware of the system mainly includes the following three parts:open platform mini2440 with Samsung S3C2440 processor core, 28BYJ-48 motor and ULN2003 step motor driver board for camera direction control, Vimicro ZC301P camera for video capture. The software design includes the building and configuration of the Linux operating system, the design of driver program, the design of control program, the design of moving target monitoring and alarming main program.First of all, the research significance of this topic and the development of video surveillance are described in detail. Then the thesis introduces the structure of the system hardware and software development environment, then states in detail the system’s total procedure, key technologies which the system needs the software and hardware design work, finally, the topic conducts analysis and performance test for the system and describes introductions for the follow-up system further improving, which provide a reference for the follow-up development.
