The Design And Implementation Of Railway Passenger Ticket Data Mining System

Our country is developing the railway construction; especially the high-speed railway has been spread out. The railway construction have breakthrough the model to devise the region according to the administrative areas, and we will construct a unified railway network. By 2020, China railway line will be form the 9500 kilometers railway network and large inter-city rail traffic circle.As the economic grows and people’s life quality develops quickly. The need of travel is raising fast, the transportation volume is bigger and bigger day by day. How to forecast the transport ticket of railway scientifically; more effectively and reasonable arrangement of passenger lines; deploy all kinds of resources of railway rationally; so that it can make railway running clear and it is very meaningful.The rapid development of information technology, a large amount of data can be stored by the database, but the current unbalanced, the data processing function is low, so we do not get useful information from the a large amount of data. The data mining is a kind of algorithm which produces a class of extracting information from large amount of data. It makes use of the existing large amounts of data to reflect the status quo, the specific application in railway is real-time monitoring data of railway ticket, analyze various railway index statistics, and provide data support for the decision for leaders in time.The train ticket has a very rich data, therefore, we need to build an intelligent data mining system extract all kinds of useful information from the vast amounts of data, and make a kind of specification, clear statements to the staff which is a problem urgently to be solved in the railway. According to this situation, this article will build a intelligent analysis system for railway passenger ticket,how to extract a variety of useful information from the mass of data is an urgent problem to be solved. This paper introduces data mining technology to the ticket data of passenger transport system. According to the actual characteristics of railway passenger ticket, the paper analyzed the data to draw all kinds of influencing factors, so as to guide the railway transportation allocation, change the marketing strategy better.This paper quoted a lot of literature firstly, analyzed the application situation of data mining in domestic and foreign, especially the application of domestic and international railway industry; then according to the present development situation of the railway transportation, summed up the significance of data mining in China railway industry; then analyzed the theoretical basis, the basic structure and some commonly used algorithm of data mining; this paper introduces the data mining system of railway ticket and introduced the development tool of the system and the specific function of the system. The final introduced the principle of the cluster analysis and decision tree, and analyzed the application of the two algorithms in railway ticket data. The results showed that two kinds of algorithm can draw many rules of knowledge according to the railway ticketing data, and they can provide information for railway operation decision makers effectively, such as the number of various passenger tickets allocation, seat type adjustment and allocate the number of train on railway line and so on. The railway ticket data mining system can also provide all kinds of charts for railway personnel for analysis, to make the analysis of railway ticket and concise and intelligent.
