A Guide Planning Model For Blind Users Based On Context Awareness

As a special group of people in society, the blind people cannot learn, work and live as normal people. At the same time, due to the loss of vision of the blind, the scene of the outside world cannot be detected in a timely manner, and to make a response, it has brought a lot of difficulties for the daily life of the blind. How to make the blind more comfortable and convenient is one of the most concerned problems for the blind people. The growing maturity of situational awareness technology has brought hope for the blind. Through the "perception" of the life of the blind, the reasoning in the context of the behavior of the blind person, we can provide behavioral planning services to help the blind more comfortable and live a planning of life. At the same time, caring and solving the problems of the blind life, is also related to our country’s humanitarian policy, embodies the social civilization and progress, and the it is an important factor to maintain the country’s image. In this paper, we study the model of the behavior of the blind people, and establish the U-I-C interest model for the blind user.Use the Situational reasoning technology to obtain the high level context information of the blind users. The similarity of the current context information and historical context information is calculated, which is used to recommend the most interested activities for the blind person and provide planning services. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1) Use the Situational awareness Technology to obtain the context information of the blind. This information contains both the blind users’ information and the environment information. After the process of data preprocessing and context reasoning, the context information is used as a new dimension, which will be added to the user-project matrix in order to establish the U-I-C interest model. The model records the interest of the project in different situations. And according to the degree of interest to project in different situations, we can generate the user’s interest rate list, which is prepared establish the service lead programming model.(2) In order to share the information of context awareness and balance the system load, in this paper we research the situation awareness system structure and Middleware Technology and propose a service lead programming model based on multi-agent architecture and context awareness technology. The model uses the mechanism, which combines the scenario and content, and calculates the similarity between the current situation and the historical context, along with the U-I-C interest model, to find out the list of the most interesting items (behavior activity) for the blind users and provide behavioral service planning for the blind users as well.(3) In this paper, we use the behavior data of the blind students during the time of 2015.5-2015.7. And we propose a situational fit index and an interest rate index to test the behavior planning model for the blind in this paper. We analyze the behavior data during May to June, we can get the behavior preference, situational preference and user interest rate in different contexts. Comparing with the data of July, we find the model has a good context fitness and interest fitness. The result also shows that the model can well reflect the interest rate of blind users in different contexts, and provide an effective action plan.
