Wireless sensor networks have been widely concerned with the development of wireless communication technology. Because a wireless sensor star network usually has only one coordinator, whether or not the data conflict between different types of terminals and coordinator in transmission becomes a problem to be studied. This paper analysis and research wireless sensor star network and transmission collision problem starting from time-sharing system. We proposed the wireless sensor star network collision avoidance mechanism which is based on time-slice rotation.This paper analyzed the conflict possible of different types of terminal and coordinator data transmission process and proposed time-slice rotation scheduling node dormancy and transmission avoidance mechanism. The necessity and feasibility of time synchronization in wireless sensor networks were analyzed in this paper, and a feasible time synchronization algorithm is adopted according to the existing various time synchronization algorithms. In the paper, time-slice rotation method of time-sharing scheduling was adopted to allocate the working time and sleep time of each terminal, coordinate data transmission time piece of work frequency reasonably and reduce the collision of data transmission effectively. At last, the algorithm was verified in CC2530 sensor module experiment.At last, the experiment build a star network to validate and evaluate our algorithm. The result shows the method performs well.
