With the development of manufacturing, medium and small-sized SMT(Surface Mount Technology) enterprises are springing up in our country. But most of them cannot keep pace with the age in informationization, which can be achieved by deploying systems like ERP or MRP. However, there are high investment in deploying and whether there will be expectant effects after those deployments and other difficulties. Based on it, this thesis devises a production management system appropriate for medium and small-sized SMT enterprises, so as to improve work efficiency, cut the cost on informationization and expedite enterprises’ upgrading process of smart manufacture.To clarify the needs and objectives, first a discussion and communication with relevant personnel is necessary so as to get actual SMT production process in the small and medium enterprises; based on above, we use Petri nets for modeling the dynamic process of their production, and the relevant business in four stages of that process are analyzed in detail. It could be found that, roles of the system, included personnel in system management, sales and marketing and staff in charge of production and production line, and different roles can only access to correponding modules by assigning permissions. In the system function modules, the thesis divides the system according to the business processes of production into pre-production part, production part, post-production part and other parts where each part contains at least one module;and funcions of main modules are made clear by use-case analysis and description.To realize the system, this thesis bases on the B/S pattern, adopts Java Web in combination with the prevailing SSH(Struts 2 + Spring + Hibernate) framework,applies the open-sourced MySQL database as the system’s database.After testament, in this system, each module functions properly, and the business logic is in line with medium enterprises’ manage requirement.The significance of this thesis lies in small and medium enterprises can take advantage of the system to manage production effectively, and improve work efficiency.
