Meteorological data has a special space and time characteristics, meteorological data collected by automatic weather stations to improve the timeliness of observational data, increasing the spatial resolution of the observed data, the meteorological department is in the process of business operations and focus on important data source reference object in the monitoring and early warning mesoscale weather systems play an important role.Based on actual business, analyzing the current status of application of the automatic weather station data in Zhangye City, it introduces the realization of meteorological data processing based on the basic theory of GIS technology and related technologies, given Zhangye City meteorological data of automatic weather stations processing and sharing system design goals each key technical construction tasks and implementation process, and system implementation are analyzed and explained. This system is an automatic weather station data processing and query system based on GIS technology, it will collect data, spatial analysis and visualization techniques combine for automatic weather station data acquisition, quality control and data processing, information inquiry. Firstly, I made a brief introduction of the meteorological observation and geographic information systems, and by current research, we analyze the geographic information system application in meteorological industry. Then describes the natural geography of Zhangye City and AWS construction applications, pointing out the necessity of the construction of Zhangye City AWS query and analysis system. According to the standard waterfall model, I build requirement model for this system and describe the requirement of each business about this system by using user case diagram and dictionary. And then I describe the framework and design method of this system and direct design and development following. From the aspect of system design principles, the basic mechanism, the main functions and database system for the overall design, discusses the use of GIS spatial data management and analysis techniques, how real-time meteorological data visualization, meteorological factors spatial analysis, and information retrieval query.Finally,I test the whole system by design a serial of test cases and compare the result and expected result in order to judge the quality of system and verify if the system is well developed according the requirement document.Design and implement methods described herein, are based on meteorological data processing industry and application status quo and the system construction. Meteorological data volume, variety and spatial data analysis more and more important under circumstances, the effective use of meteorological data has a certain reference value.
