| Index modulation(IM) is a new type of multidimensional modulation technology. Spatial modulation(SM) and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM) with index modulation are becoming a hotspot in the field of wireless communication.In order to further explore the index modulation, this paper considers to combine it with OFDM and multi-antenna technology. In addition, the multi-carrier system is very sensitive to carrier frequency offset(CFO). The inter-carrier interference(ICI) as a result of CFO will seriously affect the performance of the system.This paper focuses on the performance analysis of the multi-carrier system based on index modulation and the ICI suppression of multi user system. The specific contents are as follows:In the first chapter, the application of index modulation in the space domain and frequency domain is described. After that, it points out the research status and summarizes the research work in this paper.In the second chapter, the performance analysis of multi-carrier system with index modulation is studied. First of all, three basic methods of performance analysis are introduced. And then, the Bit Error Rate(BER) of OFDM-IM system is derived theoretically. Then, a new transmitter structure is proposed based on SM and OFDM-IM. After mathematical modeling of the system, the BER expression is derived by the union bound method. And simulation results are given to verify it. At last, index modulation is introduced in the space domain, time domain and frequency domain and a three-dimensional transmitter structure is proposed. Then describe the system model in detail and deduce the BER expression theoretically. And simulation results are given to verify its correctness.In the third chapter, the performance analysis of multi-carrier system with carrier frequency offset is studied. The influence of frequency offset on the performance of multi-carrier system is derived by mathematical deduction. Then, give the contrast analysis of the BER performance of OFDM and OFDM-IM with CFO. At last, the performance analysis of OFDM-IM with CFO is derived. And simulation results are given to verify it.In the fourth chapter, carrier frequency offset compensation on the multi-carrier system based on index modulation is studied. First of all, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access with index modulation(OFDMA-IM) is proposed and its system model is described in detail. And then, some classical ICI suppression algorithms are described. At last, according to the characteristics of the system, two ICI suppression algorithms are proposed. The effectiveness of the algorithms is verified by computer simulation.In the last chapter, the main contributions of this paper are summarized and possible future research topics are discussed. |
