With the expansion of research in their respective fields deepening, imaging spectroscopy thanks to breakthrough technology convergence so that imaging and spectroscopic techniques both branches, to create good conditions, relevant research is tending to the good development of rapid channel.In this paper, the existing small diffraction efficiency advantages of the acousto-optic tunable filter, in the academic literature analyzing the domestic and international research and technology development in many existing spectrum technology literature,papers,etc., whereby summary results spectral imaging technology and acousto-optic tunable filter development at home and abroad and deficiencies.It describes the acousto-optic tunable filter of various indicators, clear acousto-optic tunable filter mechanism and operation of the device. Select the tellurium dioxide crystal of acousto-optic interaction with the media, design using twotransducers acousto-optic tunable filter to improve the acousto-optic tunable filter spectral range, realized from 450nm~990nm wavelength tuning range, acousto-optic tunable filter theory of diffraction efficiency reaches more than 70% over the entire wavelength range.Combined with COMSOL Multiphysics simulation software, based on the theoretical value of transducer design, simulation 16 um thickness of the piezoelectric transducer, and the use of the circuit and the piezoelectric device physics coupling analysis of the driving power of the internal resistance of piezoelectric transducers the impact can provide theoretical support for the actual acousto-optic tunable filter.
