Printed circuit board (PCB) is the basis of the information industry, the degree of automation of the board processing directly affects the efficiency of the production of electronic products. Due to the complex human-computer interaction, single function and low degree of automation, the traditional cutting board system more and more can’t meet the needs of industrial production, visual technology rely on the isolation cutting scene, directly access the field information provides a basis for the further development of cutting board system. Therefore, the research and development of PCB based on vision system is not only of important theoretical significance,but also has considerable practical value.Based on the collection and analysis of relevant literature at home and abroad, this paper puts forward PCB cutting board NC system based on machine vision.which combines the visual technology with the numerical control technology, acquiring PCB image through the image acquisition device, the position deviation of the circuit board is corrected by the mark points recognition, and then the operator generates the cutting motion trace on the image by means of teaching.controller complete coordinate transformation and motion command generation based on the path information, the action actuator control cutting tool in the 3D platform moving and rotating according to the motion command, so as to realize the cutting board processing.The main contents are as follows:1. Architecture design of PCB cutting board NC systemFirst introduced the working principle of PCB cutting board NC system based on machine vision, and then introduced the system function design requirements, finally according to the function design requirements to design the system architecture including image acquisition, data processing, and the movement control of three parts, and describe them.2. The hardware design of PCB cutting board NC systemIt first introduces the system performance design requirements, and according to the requirements of performance of the subsystem in the architecture of the system, to design the hardware devices, including a controller, panoramic camera and spindle camera and an actuator selection; finally has carried on the test to choose the hardware.3. The software design of PCB cutting board NC systemSoftware development environment of the development of this system are introdu-ced at first, and then design the flow chart of the main program according to the s ystem functional requirements and system structure. Finally, the system main program flow of each subroutine design, including user login subroutine, system initialization subroutine,the image acquisition, cutting motion and trajectory generation subroutine.4. PCB cutting board NC system debuggingFirst visual subsystem for debugging, the second the motion subsystem is debugged. Again to test the function of user management. Finally the cutting board processing test, After continuous testing and improvement, the system achieves the functional requirements and performance indicators of the device design.Finally, the full text of the summary of the main findings have been described, and pointed out the shortcomings of this paper and areas for improvement.
