Because the appearance of chaos theory to inject new vitality in the field of cryptography research. The chaos encryption has opened up a new ways to solve the problem of information security in the field of computer networks and secret communication. If we want to improve the security and practicability of chaos in the information encryption, two aspects of the work we need to do:one side is to enhance the performance of chaotic model itself; for another is to enhance the performance of the encryption system. From the two aspects are studied, the article obtained some new results, the main work and innovation is embodied in the following four aspects:(1) Simple summarizes the research background and significance, and the research situation in the field of cryptography, chaotic cryptography and video encryption at inside and outside. At the same time, the article introduces chaos password in the field of video encryption application. The encryption process used the compression of AVI format video.(2) Several kinds of chaotic sequence produced way are systematically studied. The generation of chaotic sequence is the key to chaotic information encryption technology. Respectively establish continuous chaotic and discrete chaotic system model, analyzes some important features, it’s the basis of the designed video chaotic encryption algorithm in this paper.(3) On the Basis of Lorenz equation to design a new hyperchaotic system. The system is different from current common hyperchaotic system is the key to using a special nonlinear control variable w, under the drives of w, the function of the system improved. Experimental simulation results is obtained by Matlab software, the result shows that the high safety, poor real-time performance.(4) Design a compound maps chaotic system based on 3-D Logistic and Chebyshev, the system integrated the Logistic and Chebyshev the advantage of two kinds of mapping, overcome the defect of too simple unidimensional mapping, ensure that the complexity of video encryption algorithm. Through Matlab software simulation results by experiment, the experiment shows that compound chaotic encryption system can meet the requirements of real-time video, safety performance is high, and a small amount of calculation algorithm and has a broad application prospect.
