With the advent of "cloud era", University informatization faces enormous challenges. The campus network is the foundation of university informatization, the construction of the campus network directly affects the information construction of smart campus. The layer-2 and layer-3 network are not clear in private University campus network, the important services are not isolated from the general services, QoS mechanism hasn’t been deploied, the multi-service capability is very weak. The security and stability are poor, because that user data on the second floor lacks of effective separation, the network structure is complex, the network equipment and terminals lack of effective supervision, and the equipments are aged. Then the ARP is vulnerable to be attacked. Centralized management gateway hasn’t been built, authentication billing is not flexible, lacking of effective supervision of the new network equipment, network maintenance is complex. Cable networks and WLAN networks coverage are not enough in part of the scenes. Most of the bandwidth and capacities of the information point which have been built can not meet the needs of information carrying. Security and the link bandwidth utilization of network export are low,and it is need to be optimized.The current campus network has restricted the development of this campus’ information badly,and it has been unable to meet the construction and bearing requirements of wisdom campus.Based on the current situation of private University campus network, existing issues, the campus network function, size, bandwidth and business requirements for all kinds of scenarios were analyzed. Then the objectives, principles and framework of network construction were proposed. Finally, the construction scheme of wired and wireless network for campus network and Refined Operation Programme were provided.In this paper, the campus network construction scheme with new flat network based on BRAS, this campus network construction scheme had clear network levels and functions. Campus network below BRAS worked in layer-2, different users and services had achieved effective isolation by VLAN. The network had established QoS mechanism which based on 802.1P+Diffserv. Multicast was supported well, and multi-services were beared effectively. WLAN AC was centrally deployed on the core switch in this plan, the deep integration and management of wired and wireless network were realized. The issues such as the ARP attack, network storm, loop and so on were solved by sorting out the network structure, achieving user and business isolation by WLAN and identifying PPPoE. To ensure that the network has a good security, it had integrated defense gateway and audited the network behavior. At the same time, to ensure that the network has a higher reliability, it had taked a lot of technologies such as double redundancy between devices, multilink, BFD+VRRP and so on. In order to realize the Refined Operation and Management of campus network, it had adopted the authentication billing scheme which could support different scenarios of IPoE, Portal, PPPoE and others, deploied the centralized network management system, log management system and behavior auditing system. The campus network of private University has certain representation in the current university campus network construction. The campus network solution based on the network status of the private University in this paper, has certain advancement, practical value and extending significance.
