The basic meaning of "Internet & Smart Manufacturing" is to organically combine the Internet and manufacturing site, which can realize the function of remote data acquisition, data analysis and processing and operational control during the industrial manufacturing process. Studying its implementation technology is one of the hotspots in the field of intelligent manufacturing. A specific system of "Internet & Smart Manufacturing" relates to lots of aspects, such as sensor application designing, microcontroller programming, wireless networking, interconnection of WSCN and Internet, monitor program designing and human-computer interaction software designing, etc. It has many characteristics, for example, more knowledge elements, very difficult and complexed knowledge fusion. Meanwhile, it exists many problems such as long development cycle, ambiguous personnel division low development efficiency and high development costs. The research target of this paper is to abstract the generic technology of "Internet & Smart Manufacturing", establish a technical architecture and give the technical framework of each component, which can achieve the standardization and componentization of development. The main contents are as follows:(1) Based on extracting the common part and clarifying the relationship of universality and individuality, a technology architecture of “Internet & Smart Manufacturing”(ISMTA) is proposed. It has many characteristics, such as reasonable decomposition of knowledge elements, the hardware and software components encapsulation and clear data upward and downward transaction process, which can meet the basic requirements of reusability and portability in software engineering.(2) Through analyzing the implementation technology of “Internet & Smart Manufacturing”, ISMTA is reasonably divided into five technology framework based on data communication and storage characteristics. They are WSCN node, GPRS/ETH-WSCN gateway, monitor program, database and human-computer interaction software. A common programming technical framework of MCU is put forward based on the embedded real time operating system MQX, which has clear task function division and provide public technology base for program framework of specific node and gateway. At the same time, formatter of data communication is reasonably designed, which can provide technical support for transplantation, reuse and extension of ISMTA.(3) Based on embedded hardware component design principle, combined with the demand of a variety of Internet access methods, under the full consideration of hardware scalability, interference immunity and other issues, the hardware design, layout and test methods of GPRS/ETH-WSCN gateway public extension board are given on the basis of the original WSCN hardware in the laboratory.(4) Based on the idea of software components hierarchy model and the common programming technical framework of MCU, the programming technology framework of WSCN node and GPRS/ETH-WSCN gateway are given. Moreover, based on the basic principle of software engineering and software hierarchical basic ideas, the technology framework of monitor program, database and human-computer interaction software are given, and fully consider their reusability and portability, which can provide software templates for rapid application development.(5) The application example of ISMTA is given. Practice shows that ISMTA as the technical template of “Internet & Smart Manufacturing” can effectively improve the componentization level of development, decrease duplication work, enhance the development efficiency, shorten the development cycle, reduce the development cost and increase stability of the system.
