| Case teaching has attracted much more attention with the development of journalism education in China.Media ethics is a highly-practical subject.The monologue-lecturing-style teaching methods in traditional classrooms often resulted in separation between theory and practice, which was unable to fully meet requirements of the subject of media ethics. Student’s will be able to fully understand the relevant principles of media ethics and problem situations in news media and then deepen their understandings about news regulations and media ethics only if case teaching method is practiced.lt is necessary to establish a fully-mature case base about media ethics, which serves as the foundation of case teaching.However,China’s development of case base about media ethics are left far behind other countries,which has become a stumbling block on the way of developing case teaching methods in the subject of media ethics. Speeding up building case base about media ethics is not only feasible, but also in urgent needs.This thesis makes a through research about the current situation of case base about media ethics by analyzing research samples resulted from the practices of creating case base about media ethics in School of Journalism and Communication of Central China Normal University.What’s more, this thesis makes an analysis about operational mechanisms of building case base about media ethics in Chinese colleges and universities by utilizing relevant theories about "flipped classroom".This thesis is divided into five parts.The introduction part makes brief reviews about current researches at home and abroad and summarizes former researches and their practice fruits.The first chapter demonstrates the feasibility and urgency in developing current case base about media ethics.The second chapter discusses about building and operational mechanisms of case base about media ethics through analyzing the current status of domestic case base about media ethics.The third chapter illustrates demand analysis,process design and functional design based on the building process of case base about media ethics in School of Journalism and Communication of Central China Normal University.The fourth chapter expounds the implementation process of case base about media ethics and makes assessments and conclusions about the project of building case base about media ethics in School of Journalism and Communication of Central China Normal University.The case base about media ethics in this thesis adopts the framework of B/S (Browser/Server). Users can access the network platform of case base through browsers, and the website of the case base is http://media-ethic.ccnu.edu.cn. Therefore,the researches in this thesis boast features of intersection between art and science and combination of theory and practice, this thesis also serves as the perfect presentation of the author’s writing works. |
