| With the development of new communication technologies and wireless device terminal, now there are more and more products using wireless network technology in our life. Admittedly, wireless network can give us better and newer experience, but at the same time some of the shortcomings of wireless network draw people’s attention more and more frequently. In the data tansmission in the wireless network, the radio channel is easily interfered by some factors and the terminal is likely to move. These may cause packet loss during the transmission so that the system will cost more to retransmit these lost packets. Research on how to improve the transmission efficiency of a wireless network among researchers has been widespread concerned. Instantly Decodable Network Coding gives us a new direction in how to improve the efficiency of the retransmission of wireless network and reduce system delay. This paper mainly focus on Instantly Decodable Network Coding and we do some related work as follows:Firstly, we propose an improved wireless retransmission strategy(IRS-IDNC). At each transmission, it selects a combination packets that maximum the remaining code density. Furthemore, the encoding packets minimize average decoding delay in the case that more than two encoding packets which cause equal remaining code opportunity appear.Secondly, we do research on Instantly Decodable Network Coding for Lossy Feedback Environment(LF-IDNC). This method takes into account the presence of feedback information loss scenarios. Furthemore, we also balance the numbers of transmission and decoding delay on the basis of it. |
