Abstract/Summary:
Satellite communication as an important part of the communications industry, has an irreplaceable advantage in emergency communication.“Satcom On The Move”(SOTM) products has been widely used because of its advantages of communication capacity, flexibility, fast response when traditional communication facilities were damaged.The research objective of this paper is SOTM tracking system. Since the vehicle in the process of moving shake the earth station antenna will make the deviation of pointing attitude, which requires the SOTM system can reverse compensation the vehicle movement. By measuring sensor,computing controller chips, the control algorithm to control the amount of output and the motor running so that the antenna always keep pointing attitude. This paper first introduces the development status, prospect, composition, mathematical principle and hardware environment of the system, and then expounds the design of system software, such as searching, tracking and interrupt handlers,followed by analyzed the key technology of the system, such as serial port communication,re-search, gyro zero adjustment principle and Fuzzy-PID control algorithm, finally gives the system in the test in laboratory and satellite communication vehicle, and made a brief analysis of the result of the test.The system met the acceptance criteria of the contract and passed the enterprise achievement appraisal after a variety of road conditions and driving test.
