| The technology of wireless communication and modern network makes a great progress, which promotes the emergence and development of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). So WSN has a wide range of applications in the environmental monitoring or forecast, health care, intelligent household and other fields. Different from wired sensor networks, WSN has some characteristics, such as a large scale, self-organization and dynamic topology structure. Also the sensor nodes’energy is limited, and cannot be added. Besides, WSN is easy to be affected by the site environment, interference and obstacles, causing the results of attenuation, multi-path and blind area. Then the packet loss or packet retransmission in the data transmission is produced. So this requires the network to ensure its energy utilization and reliable data transmission in many applications. Considering that the optimized topology structure can save network energy and guarantee the reliable data transmission. Therefore, this paper analyzes and summarizes the existing topology model, and puts forward the research content by aiming at the shortcomings of the WSN research in network reliability and energy efficiency. The specific contents are shown as follows.(1)The research status of WSN topology optimization algorithms is summarized. And based on the practical environment, we analyze that the reliability has the important significance of enhancing network adaptability and promoting network application. So this paper analyzes the reliable topology model from two aspects of link stability and energy balance, which lays the foundation for designing the reliable and energy-saved topology optimization algorithm.(2)Considering the actual environment of asymmetric link will cause the signal transmission failure, the reliable communication model which faces the link stability is established by the method of link quality prediction. And according to the advantage of distributed algorithms, the distributed topology optimization algorithm based on communication reliablity model is designed. This algorithm can build the diconnected topology. What’s more, the simulations prove that the topology can improve network communication reliability, reduce network energy consumption and prolong network lifetime.(3)Data’s successful transmission is based on the reliable topology. And the factors as node isolation make that the actual time of node’s transmitting information don’t match the time of running out of its energy. Thus the topology reliable model and the link actual-survival-time model is presented respectively. What’s more, the WSN topology optimization model facing the reliable communication and energy equilibrium is put forward. And the corresponding topological optimization algorithm is designed. The theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the algorithm can not only improve the network reliability, and prolong the time of transmitting information. |
